Sight at Home is a trusted and specialised eye care provider for those with mobility and health issues. Our team of highly qualified and experienced optometrists are able to perform extensive and in-depth sight tests for you at your home, just like that offered at your local high street optician. Equipped with advanced testing equipment, our optometrists are also able to thoroughly assess your eye health and detect any issues.
Your eligibility
If you are over the age of 60 and live in England, Wales, or Scotland then you are entitled to a free NHS eye test.
If you are unable to leave your home unaccompanied you may also be eligible to have one of our opticians visit you and perform a free eye test at your home. If you are not eligible for an NHS funded sight test you can still have one of our opticians visit you at your home to carry out an eye test with a fee payable of £60.

Glasses
Sight At Home offers an extensive selection of frames and lenses for you to browse and select from, all from the convenience of your own home. Once your glasses are prepared, they will be delivered directly to you. If you need additional checks, we will schedule a convenient time for a technician to come to your home and provide any necessary fitting and adjustments, if required.
The Sight Test
Our optometrist will visit you at your home to carry out your eye examination. Our skilled optometrists will perform a thorough and detailed sight assessment that goes beyond just assessing your vision. They will also thoroughly evaluate the health of your eyes. After the sight test, the optometrist will discuss the results with you, including whether or not you require glasses.
Aftercare
After your appointment we want to make sure that you have been happy with your treatment including the fitting of your glasses, if purchased. We offer a free aftercare service for one year.
